Non Trophy Game aren’t always available – it depends if they need

to be managed / culled and this need also changes by the year and by the season.

Booking of non trophy game and advance payment of booked game is required.

A reminder that any animal not exported out of South Africa 14 % VAT tax must be charged onto the fees below and onto Trophy's fees. Exporting even just one part or some of the animals you hunt will mean no VAT tax needs to be charged.

Non trophies = Females, young males, males with broken off horn/s & runt / poor quality animals, unless specified below. Skew horns are NOT non trophys.
Females may only be shot in their dry times: when they have no dependant calves.

Occasionally broken horns or 1 horn game are available, but no guarantee they will be available at the time of your hunt. Females and males also aren’t always available – it depends if they need to be managed / culled and this need also changes by the year and by the season , so Please ask your PH what is available at the time of your hunt.
As many of these could be very old animals – there is no guarantee the hide will be perfect, even after tanning. However, most hides turn out fine but there are some exceptions - this risk is on the hunter. 

Most species for non trophy are female to control population numbers.

Most of the non trophy hunting takes place on our own ranches and the prices printed here are for on our ranches. In the rare event the hunter wants to hunt non trophys on another of our concessions, which are ranches owned by other person/s, the animal fee is higher and game on such other ranches is subject to availability.

For Buffalo, Rhino, Sable and Roan, a percent of the trophy fee is required upon booking as a deposit which will be a credit on the safari of the booked animal.  Cancellation or change of date will result in the loss of the deposit.

All species on this list require advance booking of the species wanted.

• Rifle hire = US$ 25 - $ 30 per day includes reasonable amount of ammo (only 1 of each is available : .222, .243, .30-06, .375 H&H Mag, 12 gauge side by side). Rifles are all scoped with Harris 14 - 27 " extendable Bipods attached and slings, attached to Rifles.
  A firearm rental day is defined as: If the gun goes out in the truck it has been rented for the day even if no shot has been fired with it or if it does not get used at all.

For $ 30 / day  this rifle  : .30-06 HOWA  bolt action with tactical synthetic Black Talon stock and recoil absorber,

scope 4- 16  Burris Elimanator electronic with built in rangefinder, elevation aiming dots and windage , zero at 100 yds and can shoot out to 1200 yards. Using Hornady 180 grain BT SST or 165 grain reloaded bullets.

• Additional PH  US$ 100 per day.

• If you choose to use a Taxidermist other than Taxidermy Africa our storage of your Trophies will cost $ 500 which is payable to Richard Holmes Safaris at the end of your safari, and is refundable if other taxidermist picks up your trophys with in a week of your departure. As we have a permanent long term relationship with Taxidermy Africa they are punctual about picking up your Trophies from us. The hunter must also supply enough tags from the other taxidermist for PH here to write on the details of each animal eg. hunters name,  species, skull & horns, cape etc.( supply 3 tags per animal )
  

BOOKINGS and PAYMENTS 

Dates Booked:

a contract i will email for all on the safari to complete and sign, this contract must be emailed back to me / RHS asap with your payment asap, we cannot hold bookings unless both of this happens asap.

Then Proof of paid for airtickets is required to lock in a booked date. Air Tickets must be done 10-12 months, or at least 6 months before your safari date, and sent to RICHARD HOLMES SAFARIS, or If you have booked your safari within a few months ofyour safari date you may still get your flights booked and come on safari booked dates.

CONTRACT AND PAYMENT ASAP, and FLIGHTS ARE BOOKED AND FULL ITINERY IS RECEIVED BY RHS, then this confirms your hunt and booking. 

All package and custom hunts require HALF DOWN when booking dates and contract is signed, and the remaining balance is payable 6 months prior to the safari.

If you have booked your safari within a few months of your safari date the full package price is payable on receipt of your signed contract, AGAIN ASAP.

No moneys are refundable, but all moneys paid remain a credit on a safari.

The prices of the year in which the safari takes place are payable, credits are transferable to other hunters who take over a cancelled hunt

Payment Preferably ONLY with VISA or MASTERCARD credit cards

( we will accept AMEX as a last resort ).

RHS has a Bank Account in the USA in Las Vegas with BOA and wires / electronic internet payments may also be done to this account. Contact Richard for details.

US $, EURO or GBP Stirling traveler’s checks, or cash are the least preferable method of payment.

Specialty foods and drinks are not included in the daily rates. ( but we will get items for you - so if you want such we need these specifics well in advance of your arrival due to our remote locaton )

Foreign bank transfer fees, fees to use you credit card overseas and currency conversion fees are the client’s responsibility.
