Game seen on ranch today - Eland and Zebra - the game is fat and the grass is incredible !
Quiet times here but busy with maintenance. Our Game is doing great after good summer rains as we go into our fall / autumn. I Saw a beautiful herd of Gemsbok over 50 animals together - quite a sight. I Came accross a herd of 36 Eland at Journey's End - spectacular. The Grass is very tall now, up to 1,4 m in places, but this will be shorter through the winter. Small Mammals and Birds are also doing well. We Have seen 2 pairs of Blue Cranes with chicks - this is our national bird. Guinea fowl have bred well for first time in years.
