Hi Richard Just thought we would let you know that Rowan and I arrived back in UK safe and sound. Mainly we wanted to say a big thank you to you and all the staff (particularly Lalase and John) for making our first hunting trip enjoyable and a big success.
I know Rowan had a great time and to be honest that was most important to me. Certainly neither of us were disappointed and we both thought it was a great introduction to African hunting and a great opportunity for us to spend some quality time together. Thanks to the skills of our PH I know Rowan learned a lot more about hunting than just how to shoot a rifle.
Would we recommend Holmes Safaris? Yes we would and please feel free to pass on our contact details to anyone who might be considering a father and son hunt or management hunt.
Would we hunt with you and your team again? Certainly and already we are considering a return visit next year assuming that you have vacancies around August 2015?

John and Rowan took 12 animals and had a great time, they wish to return soon !
Rowan also hunted another Springbok and a Blue Wildebeest. His shot on his first Springbok was 275 yards with a 30-06 rifle !!
Rowan got is first big game today, a Springbok, and Lalase blooded him !!
John an his son Rowan, age 15, arrived for their safari this afternoon, all very excited !
